What is the Tekoa Technologyâ„¢ XML toolkit?
-
CDISC has called ZBI's Tekoa toolkit "a natural programming
environment for programmers who are familiar with SAS but not with XML."
Tekoa Technology XML toolkit is ZBI's proprietary technology to
import, export, and process XML in SAS. Tekoa's advantage over other
technologies, including SAS's own, is that Tekoa gives SAS
programmers the familiar look and feel of the DATA-step for both
import and export. The basic toolkit is a set of SAS macros that run
in Base SAS. The toolkit has been developed and is distributed by
Zurich Biostatistics, Inc. To request your free copy, contact Michael
Palmer at mcpalmer@zbi.net or 1-973-727-0025.

Is SAS the place to work with XML at all?
-
- For regulatory submissions, SAS is the place where data are turned into
information. XML has been called "self-describing information."
Conceptually, SAS and XML go together
- With the toolkit, pre-existing SAS experience and skills are leveraged into the XML world
