Michael Palmer is a member of the CDISC technical committee that wrote and is maintaining CDISC's XML standard for clinical trials data.He is the co-founder and president of Zurich Biostatistics and has pioneered XML processing with SAS since 1999. He has an M.S. in biostatistics from the University of Michigan and has been active in the pharmaceutical industry since 1980.

Michael is a frequent speaker at pharma and biotech companies, pharma industry conferences, and SAS users groups.

Cecilia Hale, Ph.D.
Vice President

Cecilia Hale is co-founder and vice-president of Zurich Biostatistics, Inc. In 1994 she received her Ph.D. in biostatistics from Columbia University. She began biostatistical consulting for clinical investigations in 1992 at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Since then, Dr. Hale has worked as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical industry and has had a substantial role in the development and regulatory submission of products for radiopharmaceutical, cardiovascular, neurologic, endocrine, and anti-lipid indications as well as consumer healthcare product submissions.
